Ray (Bubba) Sorensen completed the Pocahontas County Freedom Rock in April 2013 on Dan Allen’s property in Rolfe. Two main images cover most of the rock. The side facing the street features a bald eagle with the American flag in its talons. The other side has a Vietnam soldier kneeling and leaning his head on a purple heart. In the background, there are Hueys, helicopters that were commonly used during the Vietnam War. The soldier kneeling is Bob Bunda.
