Cooper’s Cove, located 7 miles east of Palmer and 1/2 mile south on 330th Ave, is a beautiful county park that features a fishing pond, hiking trails, plentiful green space and wooded areas, playground equipment, and modern camping. The Cooper’s Cove Campground features 12 electric sites (50 Amps) with various water hookups, a modern restroom/shower facility, septic dump station, and shelter house with electricity. Please note that Pocahontas County Conservation does not take reservations. Camper registration envelopes are located in the campgrounds. Firewood is available from summer staff on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
